The Department of Economics & Banking organized a Guest Lecture for students of FY and TY B.Com on “LIC Financial Services” on 01 December 2020 from 09.00 to 10.00 a.m through Google Meet. The Resource Person for the session was Mr. Sitaram B. Choudhari, Development Officer, Life Insurance Corporation of India. 46 students attended the session.
The Session began with the introduction of the speaker by Ms. Stesa Pereira, Assistant Professor in Economics. Mr. Choudhari touched upon on various services of LIC of India such as LIC Mutual fund, LIC Housing Finance, LIC (Life and Group Insurance, and LIC Credit Cards Services Limited. Further, he also highlighted some of the schemes that are associated with each of these financial services. Mr. Shrikant Madar, Assistant Professor in Economics proposed the Vote of Thanks.
