The Department of Computer Science conducted a guest lecture on “DBMS” on Friday, 14th October 2022 from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm in the Smart Classroom. 64 SY BCA students attended the session. The Resource Person for the guest lecture was Mr. Inacio Fernandes, CEO, Criador Solutions, Verna.
The compere for the guest lecture was Ms. Unnata Mandal, a student of SY BCA-B. Mr. Cliffton Andrade from SY BCA-A introduced the Resource Person to the participants. The Resource Person covered the topics of DBMS that are practically used in the industry. He stressed on the latest technologies used by database administrators and also mentioned the current software used in industry so that the students could prepare themselves accordingly. He answered the queries of the students. The session ended with a Vote of Thanks by Mr. Aldred Fernandes from SY BCA-A. The Poster was designed by Mr. Cliffton Andrade and the collage was made by Ms. Siya Gauns Dessai, both students of SY BCA-A. The faculty in-charge for this guest lecture was Ms. Rajlaxmi S. Nair. Technical assistance was provided by Mr. Punarva Prabhu Dessai, System Administrator.
