The Department of Management Studies organised a guest session on ‘Contemporary Issues in Management’ for the students of FY BBA(FS) on 6th September 2023. Mr. Nitin Kamat, Senior Manager of Helmerich and Payne Inc., was the Resource Person for the session. 52 students attended the session.
During the session, Mr. Nitin Kamat discussed the contemporary issues of management while highlighting the modern day management practices and techniques. He also shed light on the common issues that managers often encounter and provided valuable insights on how to deal with them. He also covered the concepts of green management, emphasizing the significance of sustainable practices in the business world.
Another crucial topic he touched upon during the session was stress management, offering effective strategies to cope with the pressures of the corporate environment. At the end, the students had the opportunity to interact and receive expert guidance from Mr. Nitin Kamat. Overall, the session proved to be an enriching experience for the students that provided them practical knowledge and valuable insights into the contemporary issues of management, where students had an opportunity to interact and learn from someone with real- world experience in the field of management.
