A guest lecture on “Application of the Management functions at Berger Paints” was held on 23rd August 2019. The guest lecture was organized for the students of FYBBA(FS)as part of the Fundamentals of Management course. The objective of the lecture was to make students aware about how the functions of management are implemented in the working of the company. The speaker for the lecture was Mr. Ritesh Kumar Mishra, Store Executive, Berger Paints India Ltd., having a work experience of 14 years. He is also a motivational speaker and trainer in communication skills.
The session began with an introduction to management and functions of the management. He explained how important the functions of management are in the working of the company. He also explained about the importance of Human Resource and the Supply chain management. Towards the end, the resource person spent some time motivating the students to study and work towards achieving their personal goals. He also encouraged students for public speaking. The students actively participated and appreciated the lecture conducted. The guest faculty appreciated the College faculty members – Mrs. Ashwini Devari and Ms. Trisha Vadil – and the students for the successful conduct of the event. 43 FY BBA(FS) students attended the session.
