The Cultural Council organized an Online Orientation Session in association with GDP Foundations – GDP Talks – ‘Talking Talukas’ on 03rd February 2021. The Resource Persons for the session were Mr. Kishore Shah, Managing Trustee, GDP Foundation and Mr. Saiesh Naik Member, GDP Foundation. GDP Talks is a platform to encourage the youth of Goa to highlight issues they might have noticed in the areas of agriculture, healthcare and education and put forth these issues with possible solutions.
The Speaker oriented the audience on GDP Foundation and the various activities undertaken by them. He also briefed the staff and students about ‘Talking Talukas’ events which focused on the areas of education, healthcare and agriculture. He also stressed on this unique initiative as it will empower the youth to turn their suggestions into reality. There were 44 participants in the session.
