

Ms. Lizette D’Costa, Assistant Professor in Economics & Banking, welcomed the staff members present by speaking on the essence of the Festival. The highlight of the event was a Modak Making Competition, which added a delightful touch to the festivities. Participants showcased their culinary skills and creativity by preparing various traditional and innovative versions of modaks.
In the spirit of fostering a lively atmosphere, Ms. Marjina Shaikh, Assistant Professor in Commerce and Management, announced a few spot prizes based on questions related to Lord Ganesha. The celebration continued with the melodious singing of Artis dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The festivities were further enriched by a vibrant and energetic performance of the traditional Goan dance, ‘fugdi.’
To conclude the event on a delightful note, attendees were treated to an array of delectable Ganesh delicacies. The event succeeded in not only celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the festival but also in fostering a sense of togetherness among the staff and faculty.
