Fun Fest Bazaar 2024

The Fun Fest Bazaar 2024 was successfully organized by the E-Cell, Incubation Centre and IIC in association with the Post Graduate Department of Commerce of the college. The event was held on the 20th and 21st December 2024 at the college campus, specifically near the canteen and quadrangle, running from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM on both days.

The primary objective of the event was to create an interactive and vibrant platform for students to demonstrate their entrepreneurial skills, creativity, and teamwork while fostering a sense of community among various academic programs.

A total of 13 stalls were set up by 42 students (24 Female, 18 Male) from various programmes including B.Com, BCA, BBA, and M.Com, each offering a diverse array of mouthwatering food items and engaging activities. The food stalls featured a variety of treats such as cakes, cupcakes, brownies, chatpata chicken, shev puri, cheesecakes, milkshakes, coolers, burgers, Goan forminhas/canopies, and guava chaat. In addition to the food, game stalls were also set up, adding an element of fun and entertainment to the event. The stalls were well received by the participants, who enjoyed the variety of offerings and appreciated the creative presentation of the products. The students demonstrated exceptional teamwork, entrepreneurial thinking, and customer service skills as they set up and managed their stalls. The event also served as a great opportunity for networking and collaboration, with students from diverse programmes interacting and collaborating throughout the two days.

The Fun Fest Bazaar 2024 was a significant success in promoting practical learning, fostering entrepreneurial engagement, and encouraging community spirit. It provided students with a hands-on experience in managing a business venture in a live environment, making it an enriching experience for all involved.

The Fun Fest Bazaar 2024 aimed to enhance students’ entrepreneurial skills by offering a real-world platform to run businesses, handle customer interactions, and address challenges. It promotes practical learning by bridging the gap between theory and application, as students gain insights into business operations, marketing, and customer service. The event fosters networking and collaboration among students from diverse backgrounds, while encouraging cultural exchange and socialization. Managing stalls will develop students’ leadership and teamwork skills, preparing them for future careers. Ultimately, the event is expected to boost college spirit and foster a stronger sense of community.
