The Department of Physical Education & Sports, NSS unit, NCC Navy and NCC Army in collaboration with the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa organized Freedom Run, on 15th August from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
The freedom run was from the College Entrance up to Zudio Store in Kharebhand and back to the College Entrance. The Total Distance of 2Kms was covered in the run and a total of 88 students participated in the run. The purpose of this event was to build up culture of physical fitness among the students of the College.
This freedom run was initiated as a part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav by Mr. Ajinkya Kudtarkar, College Director of Physical Education & Sports, Mr. Gajanan Haldankar, NSS PO, Lt. Sandesh Gaonkar NCC(Army), and Ms. Pretty Pereira NCC (Navy).
