Shree Damodar College participated in and secured the First Runner-up position, at the annual state level event Guru Srujan 2019 organized by Narayan Zantye College of Commerce, Bicholim in association with Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa on Saturday, March 30, 2019.
The College team participated in all the on-stage events (skit, singing, dance and fashion show) and off-stage events (rangoli, paper quilling, videography and selfie). Our team secured First Place in Selfie competition, Second Place in Videography competition and Second Place in duet singing competition.
The faculty members who actively participated in Guru Srujan 2019 were Dr. Lira Gama, Dr. Vishal Chari, Ms. Prachi Kolamker, Ms. Mamta Kumari, Mr. Gajanan Haldankar, Mr. Sandesh Gaonkar, Mr. Ajinkya Kudtarkar, Ms. Lizette D’Costa, Ms. Averyl Pires, Dr. Madanant Naik, Ms. Raashi Panvelkar, Ms. Sayli Kuncolienker, Ms. Lizia Gomes, Mr. Mayuresh Adsul and Mr. Frazer Taylor.
The student volunteers actively assisted the faculty participants. The achievement is the outcome of sincerity and dedication of the participating team, valuable inputs provided by Dr. Sheetal Arondekar, Convenor, College Cultural Council and constant motivation and support of Principal, Dr. Prita D. Mallya. Guru Srujan 2019 provided a platform to explore, unleash and promote the talents of the collegiate teaching fraternity in Goa. The overall experience was rewarding and enjoyable.
