Field Trip To Tambdi Surla And Biodiversity Park Mollem

The NSS Unit & NCC Army Wing in collaboration with Yuva Tourism Club organized a field trip to Tambdi Surla and Biodiversity Park Mollem on 13th January 2024. Students were accompanied by Dr. Rodney D’Silva, Lt. Sandesh Gaonkar (NCC), Mr Sanjay Velip (NSS PO Incharge), Ms. Akshada Gaonkar (NSS PO), Mr. Ainsley Bernard and Ms. Kalpana Parab. The trip aimed to provide students with a unique and enriching experience in nature and wildlife conservation.

The visit to Tambdi Surla included exploration of the ancient Mahadev Temple, renowned for its intricate architecture and cultural significance. Students gained insights into the historical and religious aspects of the region, broadening their cultural understanding. The sanctuary provided a rich learning experience about biodiversity conservation and the importance of preserving natural habitats. This park is renowned for its diverse flora and fauna, providing an excellent opportunity for students to witness and appreciate the importance of biodiversity conservation.
