The Yuva Tourism Club organized a field trip for its members on 29th March 2023. 30 students accompanied by Assistant Professors Ainsley Bernard and Sushrusha Naik Khandekar were a part of the field trip. The students visited the DHAROHAR-National Museum of Customs & GST, Panaji as well as the Archaeological Museum, Old Goa. The students were given guided tours of both museums.

The National Museum of Customs & GST is the first museum of its kind that depicts the rich history of Indian Customs. The museum exhibits a variety of seized goods, antiques, and customs heritage. The Archaeological Museum contains many important and beautiful artifacts of the Portuguese rule in Goa. The museum also boasts a collection of stamps, religious artifacts, and other prized treasures. The aim of the study visit was to inculcate among the students an understanding of India’s glorious history and promote Goa as a tourist destination.
