The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a field trip for teachers to Samant Agro Farm, Dabhal, on Tuesday 19th January 2021, from 10 am to 4 pm. Mr. Nagesh Samant and Mr. Varad Samant, the owners of the farm welcomed the teachers and gave details of the land, farming and the produce. They grow cabbage, chillies, ladyfingers and watermelons on their farm.
The field trip was very successful and enjoyable. Teachers felt refreshed in the lush green fields. It was also a learning and motivating experience to see the practice of agriculture in Goa. 24 teachers attended the field trip.
The IQAC Coordinator Dr. Shami Pai, thanked the agriculturists for permitting the visit to their farm and sharing their experience.
