The much-awaited Farewell Day commenced with an air of nostalgia and anticipation, marking the end of an unforgettable journey for the outgoing Third Year batch on 8th April 2024. The event began with a warm and gracious welcome address by our esteemed Principal, Prof. Sanjay Sawant Dessai. His words of wisdom and encouragement set the tone for the day, inspiring both the outgoing students and their juniors to strive for excellence and embrace the challenges that lie ahead.
The stage came alive with vibrant energy as Ms. Poonam Kothari and group, presented a mesmerizing group dance performance, captivating the audience with their synchronized movements and infectious enthusiasm. Their performance was a testament to the talent and dedication that thrives within our Institution.
Following the dance performance, the Third Year outgoing students from each program namely Ms. Aarya Kamat, Mr. Sohan Gharse, Mr. Sathvik Satardekar from the BCom, Mr. Siddhivinayak Hadapad from BCA and Ms. Alfiya Shaikh from the BBA took center stage to narrate their cherished memories and experiences during their time in the College. Their heartfelt anecdotes and reflections brought tears and smiles alike, as they fondly recalled the bonds forged and the lessons learned.
The atmosphere was then electrified by an exhilarating dance performance by Ms. Vishaka Kumari and her group, who showcased their grace, agility, and passion for dance, leaving the audience spellbound and cheering for more. Mr. Dinesh Kumar and Mr. Kamal Ram, two exceptionally talented students, then took the stage to serenade the audience with a soul-stirring musical performance, filling the air with melodious tunes and heartfelt emotions.
The event also featured inspiring speeches by senior teachers Dr. Lina Sadekar, Dr. Shami Pai, and Dr. Lira Gama, who shared words of wisdom, encouragement, and gratitude with the outgoing batch, imparting invaluable lessons that will guide them on their future endeavors. As the day drew to a close, Dr. Maithili Naik, the Students’ Council Convenor, delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event and bidding farewell to the outgoing students with love and best wishes for their future endeavors.
