Extension Activity – Children’s Day Celebration

As part of the Department’s extension activity, students of the Computer Science Department organized a Children’s Day activity for the children of Holy Cross Convent Orphanage, Sarfona. The activity was conducted in collaboration with Holy Cross Orphanage and Asha Sadan Social Center. The objective of the activity was for social contribution and to spread love, and also to prove that while not all of us can do great things, we can do small things with great love.

The activities conducted were as follows

4.00 to 4.30 pm           Cake cutting and feeding food to the small children,

4.30 to 5.00 pm –         Clay activity: theme to create a mini computer,

5.00 to 6.00 pm           Games session and Fashion Show,

6.00 pm                       Distributing stationery giveaways to the children.

We appreciate the efforts of students Dally Serrao, Sheehan Alcacoas, Seema Hadimani, Eshwar Rajgupta from FYBCA and Kannaiya Khataukar, Austin Gama, Chirag Bandekar,  Shaunak Bale, Terence Cruz  and Bhogesh Molagavalli from TYBCA. The day was about innocence, playfulness, joy and lots of love. We cherished every moment of the day. We say if we can make the world a better place for children we make it a better place for everyone.
