The Fine Arts Club in collaboration with Green Club (Vasundhara) of the College organised Eco-Friendly Akash Kandil Making Competition on 21st October 2023 at the College campus. It brought together creativity, environmental consciousness, and festive spirit. The event aimed to promote sustainable practices and raise awareness about the importance of eco-friendly celebrations during festivals. Mr. Sandesh Gaonkar, Assistant Professor in Commerce and Ms. Ashwina Tari Volvoikar, Asst. Professor in IT were the coordinators of the event.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments. The diverse range of participants reflected the inclusive nature of the event. Entries were evaluated based on creativity, use of eco-friendly materials, craftsmanship, and adherence to the theme. The winners were selected based on the judging criteria, and prizes were awarded to the top three teams.
