The BBA(FS) Department of the College organised an E-Quiz on the topic “Insurance Awareness”. The main objective of the E-Quiz was to enhance the basic knowledge on Insurance. The quiz was open to all the students of the College and also to the general public. The quiz was uploaded on the College website on 6th November 2020 and the link was kept open till 16th November 2020.
It is generally acknowledged that there are enormous risks in every sphere of life. Our life and property are not safe and there always a risk of losing them. A simple way to cover this risk of loss is to get life and property insurance. Insurance businesses form an important part of the financial services industry. This E-Quiz intended to create awareness about specific aspects of insurance.
The E-Quiz comprised 15 multiple-choice questions. Upon successful completion of the quiz with a minimum score of 50%, participants instantly received system generated e-certificates on their registered e-mail ID.
105 participants answered the E-Quiz and certificates were issued to 78 participants. Assistant Professor Ms. Lizia V. Gomes was the E-Quiz coordinator.
