The Teacher Recreation Committee celebrated Diwali on 28th October 2019 in the Smart Classroom at 12.30 pm. All staff members were dressed in traditional Indian attire. The programme started with Ms. Mamta Kumari speaking about the essence of the festival as well as the recitation of a poem specially written by her to capture the theme of the Festival. This was followed by spot prizes and games organized by Ms. Stesa Pereira and Ms. Lizette D’Costa. Dr.Vishal Chari and Dr. Sheetal Arondekar gave farewell speeches for Ms. Mamta Kumari as she will be leaving at the end of the Semester. The programme came to an end with Dr. Sheetal Arondekar singing a song and proposing the vote of thanks.
The staff members then proceeded for lunch which they contributed and prepared themselves. 70 Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of all programmes participated and enjoyed the programme. The coordinators of the function were Ms. Stesa Pereira, Ms. Lizette D’Costa, Mr. Sandesh Gaonkar, Dr.Madanant Naik and Mr. Shrikant Madar.
