The TechTrendz Club of the Department of Computer Science demonstrated its commitment to student development by hosting “Crossword Craze” on February 1st, 2025. The event, held in Lab 1 from 12:45 PM onwards, attracted 20 participants (08 males, 12 females) from the BCA and BVoc.(ST) programmes. Students enthusiastically showcased their IT knowledge, teamwork, and analytical skills in this challenging crossword competition.
The Winners are as follows:
- First Place – Mr. Yogesh Yadav (SY B.Voc(ST) and Mr. Showil Rebello (SY B.Voc (ST))
- Second Place – Mr. Aldrid Fernandes (TYBCA, Div B) and Mr. Vignesh Raikar (TYBCA, Div B)
- Third Place – Miss Aifa Shaikh (TYBCA, Div B) and Miss Shital Sharma (TYBCA, Div B)
The overall faculty in-charge of the event was Asst. Prof. Annette Santimano, in-charge of the TechTrendz Club. The overall faculty coordinator for the event was Asst. Prof. Ankita Naik, while the student coordinator was Miss Shaina Kamat. The event received positive feedback from students, who demonstrated great enthusiasm in participating.
Expected Outcome of the Activity
The activity successfully met its intended outcome of promoting teamwork and analytical skills, leading to anincreased level of confidence among participants.
