Cleanliness Drive

The NSS Unit of the college organized a Cleanliness Drive on 1st February 2025 to promote cleanliness and environmental awareness among students. The initiative aimed to instil a sense of responsibility and contribute to maintaining a hygienic campus. Volunteers gathered at the college entrance at 12:30 PM, where NSS Program Officer Mr. Sanjay Velip provided instructions and divided them into groups to clean designated areas, including parking lots, playgrounds, and garden spaces. Equipped with hand gloves and bin bags, the students actively participated in clearing litter and disposing of waste properly.

The drive not only improved campus hygiene but also reinforced the importance of social responsibility and waste segregation. The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by the 52 volunteers (31 males, 21 females) were commendable, and similar initiatives will be organized in the future to sustain this mission.

Expected Outcomes of the Activity

Students will develop a habit of maintaining cleanliness and understand the importance of waste segregation, fostering a long-term commitment to environmental sustainability. The initiative will contribute to a cleaner and more hygienic college environment, creating a pleasant atmosphere for students and staff.
