Value Education Cell organized a talk on “Civic Awareness” at Ramadas Mallya Memorial Smart Classroom on 3rd February 2017. The speaker was Mr. Aroon Lobo, who is associated with Youth for more than 20 years and works to bring back real values that make one a better person and better citizen.
In his presentation he spoke of ills such as separatism, vandalism, intolerance, racism, road rape etc. He highlighted on garbage problem and traffic indiscipline as lack of civic sense. He emphasized on the importance of voting and urged the students to exercise the right judiciously.
