The Placement Cell and the TY B.Com Certificate Course Committee organized the Youth Employment Program (YEP) for the TY B.Com, BBA and BCA students of the College from September 2022 to February 2023. The YEP was a 100-hour hybrid course, organized in association with the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).
The YEP was organized with the objective to strengthen the employability skills of the youth by providing free personalized training on 21st century skills and focused mentoring.
The Program included the following content: Business Communication Skills, Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Basic Computer Skills, Domain Skills, Career Guidance, Coaching & Mentoring, Technical Skills and Interview Skills.
The sessions were conducted by Ms. Shalabha Nair, Trainer, Tata Consultancy Services. The students answered a post assessment test after the course was completed. 36 students have answered the test and will be awarded certificates by DHE. The students are eligible to answer the National Qualifier Test (NQT) by TCS free of cost, for this year. The YEP was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Sheryl Sanches
