A 30-hour certificate course on ‘Practical Banking’ was conducted from 2nd to 18th August 2018 for the SY B.Com students. Mr. Suresh Parrikar, Retd. Banker (SBI) and Partner, The Consultants, Ponda, was the trainer for the course.
An MOU was signed with The Consultants for undertaking the above course. The resource person has touched upon practical handling of banking transactions as well as different key aspects of banking such as deposits, advances, recovery, human resource aspects, etc. A total of 27 students attended and successfully completed the course, which was held from 1.30-3p.m. every day.
