On August 19, 2019, the Career and Placement Cell of VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics organized a session on “Pursuing a Career in Law”. The guest faculty for the Programme was Ms. Siddhi Parodker. The primary motive of the talk was to make the students aware about the various career opportunities in Law. The guest commenced the interactive session by introducing the term “law”. She also emphasized the various types of criminal offences carried out by the public. During the session, the speaker mentioned the different colleges in Goa offering law degree courses. The speaker informed the students the procedure for getting enrolled for LLB and LLM. Mrs. Siddhi also listed the necessary qualities required to be a lawyer. She enlightened the students by narrating stories of successful lawyers. The entire session was interactive and informative. The Session was attended by 11 interested B.Com and M.Com students. The session ended with the vote of thanks.
