The Department of Management Studies organised a session on Career prospects after BBA(FS) and BBA. The session was scheduled on 6th May 2024 from 10 am to 11am via Google Meet. It was also Screened on YouTube Channel of the College. The Resource Person for the sessions were Mr. Brendon Mascarenhas, CFA and Mr. Varun D Kamat Timble, HR Manager at HFCL.
The session began with a welcome address by Officiating Principal, Prof. Sanjay Dessai. Ms Ashwini Devari introduced the first speaker, Mr. Brendon Mascarenhas. He shared his journey of education and leaning. He also emphasized on various career opportunity for students in the area of financial service. He encouraged students to do simultaneously pursue different certificate courses which will add value to the degree.
The second Speaker was Mr. Varun Kamat Timble, HR at HFCL. He started his address by focusing on the importance of skill-based learning and specialization in the areas of Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance etc. He also focused on various career option available for students after BBA. Mr Kamat also focused on pursuing higher studies to widen the scope of career.
Mr. Omkar Pawaskar handled the Question-and-Answer session and proposed the Vote of Thanks. Students put forth various questions to the speakers. The Speaker responded well to the queries of the students. 92 students attended the session.
