The NSS unit of the College conducted the following activities under the Campaign “Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye”
1. Voter Awareness Pledge
The students and staff administered an online voter awareness pledge from 28th February to 06th March 2024. The pledge serves as a tool for raising awareness about the importance of voting and the role that individuals play in shaping the future of their society.
2. Social Media Awareness Campaign
The students used various social media platforms to disseminate information and raise awareness about the importance of voting. Students have shared informative posts on Facebook, updated statuses on WhatsApp, and shared reels and videos highlighting the significance of participating in elections. The voter awareness content was also displayed on the College’s digital display board.
3. Photo booth
A voter awareness photo booth was set up in the college premises to provide an interactive and engaging experience for students and staff. Students and staff were invited to take photos and share them on social media to create awareness among others.
The Voter Awareness Campaign received a positive response from the students and staff that helped to achieve the desired outcomes.
