The MoU Cell and the TIP Cell of the College organised a session on ‘Busting Myths About TOEFL and GRE’ for the students of SY B.Com on 9th February 2024. The Resource Persons for the sessions were Ms. Elizabeth Parmar, Regional Manager, ETS TOEFL; and Mr. Vasant A. Hede, Marketing Manager, Eduadvise International.
The main objective of organising the session was to make students aware of opportunities for further studies abroad and the relevance of TOEFL and GRE. The session began with the compere, Ms. Aveena Moura, student of FY B.Com B, introducing the Resource Persons. Mr. Vasant Hede then gave an overview about Eduadvise and discussed about TOEFL and GRE.
Ms. Parmar explained about the benefits of answering TOEFL through Eduadvise such as reduced test time, streamlined registration process, enhanced score reporting, Free AI-scored mobile practice sets, improved ‘at home’ experience, INR payment options and India-based customer support. The session ended with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Haseena Begum, TY B.Com. 51 students attended the session.
