The Department of Commerce and Management conducted one-week Bridge Course on Basics of Accounting for non-Commerce background – first year B.Com students from 24th September to 2nd October 2021 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m via Google Meet platform. The course was designed to help the students understand the basic fundamentals of accounting. In the course the students were given knowledge about the meaning and objectives of Accounting, the procedure of Accounting, recording of journal entries, ledgers trial balance preparation.
32 students completed the course. (14 from B.B.A(FS),13 from B.C.A and 5 from B.Com).The sessions were conducted by Mr. Gajanan Haldankar, Assistant Professor in Commerce.
