To commemorate International Women’s Day, the South Goa District Administration had conducted an awareness programme on the Theme “Save the Girl Child” under Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act 1994 and Rules 1996, on 10th March 2023. The Programme was held at the Matanhy Saldana Administrative Complex, Margao, and consisted of a rangoli competition, face painting competition and a talk on “Save the Girl Child. 29 NSS Volunteers participated and were accompanied by NSS PO Namrata Ugvekar.
