1 Goa Naval Unit NCC organized seven days Annual Training Camp from 26th October to 2nd November 2022 at Fr. Agnel High School, Pilar Goa. The main objective of the ATC was to prepare the student for “B” and “C” certificate exam. At the outset, CO Riji K. Krishnan welcomed the cadets and ANOs/CTOs.
The camp was filled with a lot of experience and adventures. The cadets were taught Semaphore language, firing, sailing, different types of knots, drill, different positions of firing etc. They were also informed about the different types of guns, the incentives of NCC Navy and the importance of “B” and “C” certificate exam in the job market. The camp activities started at 6.00 am every day and ended at 10.30 pm. On 31st October 2022 cadets took part in a rally and took the oath on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.
Cadets enjoyed the camp, which ended with a cultural program on the last day.
650 cadets from 26 institutions from Goa attended the camp along with their ANOs/CTOs. From Shree Damodar College, 14 cadets attended the camp, accompanied by Ms. Pretty Pereira CTO NCC Navy.
