The Annual Awards day was organized on 7th February 2015. Rev. Fr. Dr. Joe Arun , Directory Goa Institute of Management was the Chief Guest for the function and CA Ganesh Daivajna ,President of Vidya Vikas mandal pre
sided over the function.
The function began with an invocation song and was followed by a welcome address by President of Vidya Vikas Mandal.
The General Secretary Students’ Council, Mr. Trivesh Asgaonkar , General Secretary Cultural Council Mr. Abdul Karim Shaikh and General Captain Sports Council Mr. Rymer Gomes presented the reports of their respective activities and achievements.
Dr.(Mrs) Prita Mallya, presented the annual repo
rt where she congratulated all the student representatives , faculty incharge and all the participants for the outstanding performance all round the year. Her presentation highlighted on the achievements of the faculty and students, the various events / seminars / conferences conducted by the college and the initiatives taken by the management in improving the infrastructure in making this campus IT enabled.
Rev. Fr. Dr. Joe Arun ,Directory Goa Institute of Management , kept everyone glued to the seat with his wonderful way of connecting to the audience. The citation given by him narrating his journey of life leading to where he stands today has left lessons for everyone to learn .He emphasize that we have to believe in ourselves and work towards achieving higher goals in life irrespective of the background from where we come and the fear of what society has to say. Everyone could relate to the simple and touching manner in which he put forth his views. His address emphasized that everyone must have a vision, set goals and strive to achieve them with focus , commitment and perseverance.
This was followed by the distribution of certificates and trophies to all 
those who brought laurels to the institution in academics , sports , NCC , NSS and other discretionary awards. The prizes were given away by CA Shri Ganesh Daivajna President of Vidya Vikas Mandal , CA U.N.Bene Chairman , Local Governing Council , Dr I. Bhanu Murthy, Ex-Principal of the College , Mrs Joan Rebello and Shri Gopal Krishna Kondli .
The program was concluded by a vote of thanks proposed by Dr. Sanjay Sawant , Vice Principal followed by the National Anthem.
