The Yuva Tourism Club of the College organised an Interactive Session with Goa’s Celebrated Fisherman Mr. Francisco Fernandes, popularly known as Pele, on 9th March 2023. 175 students from all programmes were a part of this interactive session. The Resource Person shared his entrepreneurial journey and appraised the students of the various opportunities in the tourism industry in Goa. He also spoke about his recent experience of meeting cricketer Mr. Sachin Tendulkar and wife of UK Prime Minister Mrs. Akshaya Murthy. He informed about how tourism has evolved in the State over the years. The Resource Person urged the students to stay away from vices like alcohol, drugs and prostitution and promote Goa as a clean and safe tourist destination. Mr. Ainsley Bernard was the teacher in-charge for the session.
