VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, Margao, Goa, secured Third Place in the All Goa Inter-Collegiate Judo Championship organized by Goa University from 20th to 23rd August 2024. The team members included Mr. Mohammad Shahid Angadi, Mr. Rohan Velip, Mr. Denzil Varghese, Mr. Tuhin Saha, Mr. Usaid Khan, Mr. Abhijeet Dhere, Mr. Rohan Gaonkar, Mr. Bhuvan C. Purohit, Mr. Shahid Shaikh, and Mr. Rudra Juvatkar. All team members demonstrated exceptional effort in their individual weight categories, contributing to the team’s overall success.
In individual achievements, Mr. Usaid Khan won the Gold Medal in the up to and including 100kg weight category, while Mr. Shahid Shaikh secured the Bronze Medal in the up to and including 90kg category. Their dedication and commitment played a vital role in the team’s impressive performance at the championship.
