The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) Goa in association with the Goa Institute of Management organised a 3 – day Academic Leadership Program at Club Mahindra, Asnora Bardez from 5th to 7th February 2024. Prof Sanjay P Sawant Dessai and Dr. Edwin Barreto attended this program.
The Academic Leadership Program was based on Outcome-Based Education & Learning Excellence. Sessions outlined an innovative academic leadership program to equip leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge for successful implementation of outcome-based education (OBE) within their institutions and to explore the learning service delivery process.
The following sessions were conducted:
Day one – Assurance of learning strategic overview and outcome based education by Prof. Arif Raza
Day two – Stakeholders engagement in outcome-based education by Prof. Vishnu
Day three – Change Management – Student-centric culture by Prof. Venkatesh
