13th D.D. Kosambi Festival of Ideas 2020

28 students from the Department of Computer Science attended the ‘13th D.D Kosambi Festival of ideas 2020’ on Thursday 30th January from 05:00 pm to 07:00 pm. The motivational talk delivered by Dr Chavi Rajawat was on the topic “When Women Rule”.

The more you learn, the more opportunity you have to go places and that reflects in the path finding vision, this is what has inspired Dr Chavvi Rajawat to do good in society. After acquiring her MBA degree, she became the First woman Sarpanch in Soda village in Tonk district, Rajasthan. In her talk she recounted how she overcame with all odds, with her determination to make her backward village in Rajasthan a model village. In conclusion, she said that participatory development will help any village change for better and will also contribute to balanced regional development.

The students were accompanied by faculty members Ms. Madhumeeta Dhar and Meher Rodrigues.
