The students of the Department of Computer Science organised ‘CodeZilla’- a competition conceptualized and designed by them – on 11thJanuary, 2020 at 11.30 am in Lab No. 3. The objective of the competition was to have a learning experience in programming skills.
Five teams participated in this competition to showcase their logical aptitude and programming skills. Participants had to write C program to generate the output shown on the screen. The group that took the least time to produce the correct output was declared the winner. Shounak Bale and Caph Dias from TYBCA completed the task in 7minutes, 40 seconds and won. Dazly Gonsalves and Sanat Karmali from SYBCA came inSecond with a timing of 17minutes and 24 seconds. Disha Dessai and Joel Soares from FYBCAclocked 22 minutes and 25 seconds, and bagged Third place.
The competition was conceptualized, designed and successfully executed by Sherwyn Rodrigues from TYBCA and Viraj Talekar from FYBCA. The students were guided by Assistant Professors Mr. Sumit Kumar and Ms. Surekha Patil.
