The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Govt. of Goa has taken an initiative of training clerical staff in the Colleges across Goa in Computerized Accounting. Mr. Gajanan Haldankar, Asst. Professor in Commerce, had been identified as the Resource Person for VVM”s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics and G R Kare College of Law.
Accordingly, Mr. Gajanan Hadankar conducted the “30 Hours Certificate Course in Computerized Accounting in Higher Educational Institutions” from 21st October to 9th November 2019. The objective of the course was to enable course participants acquire knowledge of principles and framework of accounting in higher educational institutions and develop skills in practice of accounting using software applications.
A total of 10 non-teaching staff attended the course. The DHE will now hold an exam and award certificates for successful completion of the course.
