The Career and Placement Cell organised a talk on Careers in Indian Civil services on July 17, 2019. The resource person was Mr. Amit, Udgam IAS Coaching Centre. The talk was aimed at creating awareness amongst students about the various Public sector competitive examinations.
The speaker made a presentation on the various exams under Union Public Service Commission including, IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, CAPF, CDS, other exams such as Indian Economic Services, RBI, Sports Authority of India-Officer Grade exams and Goa Public Service Commission exams.
Mr. Amit made the students aware of the structure of these exams and the question paper pattern. He also emphasized the need for focused, regular and smart study. He made recommendations for reference and study material to the students. The speaker shared the passing statistics and the opportunities available to students. The session concluded with the speaker addressing the queries of the students. 88 interested students from SY B.Com and TY BCA &BBA(FS) and M.Com students attended
