The Intercollegiate Handball Championship (Men’s) of Goa University was held at Goa University Ground Taleigao from 6 to 11 February 2019. More than 30 college teams took part in this tournament. After winning all the preliminary matches against different colleges, Shree Damodar College reached the semifinals. In the semifinal match, Shree Damodar College played Chowgule College Margao, and won the match 15-6.
The final match was held on 11th February 2019 against Rosary College Navelim and we won the match 20-10.
Mr. Ajinkya Kudtarkar was manager for this tournament. Mr. Mano Shelke was also assisting the team. Dr. Prita Mallya Principal, and Mr. Vikram Verlekar, Chairman Sports Governing Council of Vidya Vikas Mandal, congratulate Mr. Deepak Ashanagar (Captain), all the team players and manager for their great achievement in this tournament.
