Title of Thesis: Role of Women Self Help Groups in Socio-economic Development of its Members: A study of select WSHG members in the state of Goa.
The study focused on finding and analysing the overall benefits derived by the SHG members in the State of Goa. The study revealed that in current scenario SHG has acted as a key tool for empowerment of women by providing them with an opportunity to be independent and self-reliant.
