Ami Udyogini Prathisthan, Goa in association with Mahila Mandal Margao and Bank of India Panjim branch organised a talk on Pradhan Manthri Mudra Yojana (PMMY). The BoI official briefed about the scheme which was introduced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on 8th April 2015. The PMMY scheme basically focuses on women individual entrepreneurs or a joint venture wanting to start a venture together to start small new enterprises or business.
The loan provided under this scheme is up to Rs. 10 lakhs, to non-corporate, non-farm or micro enterprises. The three products created under this scheme namely Shishu, Kishore and Tarun were discussed in brief.
The officials discussed about the various documents required to avail this scheme as well as the procedure relating to loans and various loans offered by Bank of India to students followed by open discussion session.
The programme was attended by 08 BBA(FS) students, 04 BCA students, 01 B.com student and 07 M.Com students along with the accompanying teacher Ms. Grishmi Thakur.
