The BBA(FS) Department organized a session on Entrepreneurship on 14th July 2018. The resource person for the session was Mr. Ramchandra Salgaonkar, founder of Soul Travelling.
Mr. Salgaonkar began the session by informing the students about initiatives taken by the government in encouraging entrepreneurship. He informed the students that it is not only enough to have a good business plan but its implementation is important. He shared with the students his experience of his own startup Soul travelling, the difficulties faced during its implementation, marketing strategies and raising of finance. He also discussed a case study on business plan and asked students to give their views on it.
Through his experience and knowledge, Mr. Salgaonkar shared some of the key points to be kept in mind for starting up a new business.
