Seminar Report on “Financial Wellness”

The BBA(FS) Department of VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics organised a session on “Financial Wellness” in association with Board of Industry- Academia Partnership (BIAP) 03rd July, 2018 at Ganesh Daivajna Auditorium.

The resource person for the session was Mr. Rajendra Dalvi, a senior expert from the finance fraternity. The main objective of the session was to provide valuable insights about financial wellness. Mr. Dalvi provided comprehensive inputs on various aspects of financial wellness. He spoke on exploring potential and identifying techniques to grow financially. He focused on crucial areas like financial planning, risk-return matrix, investment avenues, financial markets etc. Mr. Dalvi pointed out that having adequate money and managing it wisely will result in financial well-being which is very essential for creation of happiness, wealth and peace.  All together 100 BBA(FS) students attended the session. Mr. Dalvi effectively responded to all the questions asked by the students after the session. Ms. Ankita Rathod, a student of SYBBA(FS) compered the session while the faculty in-charge for the same were Mrs. Ashwini Korde and Mr. Mayuresh Adsul.
