The Cultural Council of the College organized the 3rd Inter-Collegiate Patriotic Singing Competition on 12th August, 2017. Ten colleges from across Goa participated in this competition. The competition was judged by Aakash Mangeshkar, a playback singer and live performer by profession and Shubham Naik, a student at Goa College of Music. The participants performed beautiful renditions of some well known patriotic songs such as Vande Mataram, Jaag Bharata and Bharat Amcho Des.
Vidya Prabhodini College, Porvorim won the first place and took home the rolling trophy, certificates and cash prize of Rs. 3000/-. Fr Agnel College, Pilar won the second place with certificates and cash prize of Rs. 2000/-. The event was organized by General Secretary of Cultural Council Rohan Morye and his Council members under the guidance and support of Ms. Sheetal Arondekar, Convenor of Cultural Council and teachers in charge Ms. Prachi Kolamker and Ms. Gauravi Keni.
