The Post-Graduate Department of Commerce (M.Com organized the Industry Interaction Program 2017 on 2nd February 2017 through its alumni. The program was conducted in the form of a panel discussion on the topic “Bridging the Gap between Academia and Industry” led by moderator Dr. Sanjay Dessai, Vice Principal and M.Com Programme Coordinator.
The panelists were Ms. Arya Prabhudessai, Assistant Professor, Government College, Quepem, Ms. Nandita Parab, Administrative Officer- Human Resource Department, Chowgule Pvt. Ltd., Ms. Samantha Fernandes, Grade I Teacher, Government Higher Secondary School, Sanguem and Mr. Ashwath Majalikar, Junior Executive, Muthooth Finance Pvt. Ltd., Cuncolim.
The purpose of the Industry Interaction Program 2017 was to provide students with an opportunity to understand the expectations of industry. Panelists put forth their views, followed by a fruitful interactive session between the students and the panelists.
