The NSS unit of VVM’s Shree Damodar College organised a talk on ‘Human rights’ on 10th January 2017 at 12 noon in the College premises. The resource person for the talk was Ms. Shruti Nadkarni, Assistant Professor, G.R. Kare College. NSS Chief Program Officer Dr. B.P. Sarath Chandran welcomed the resource person. The talk was attended by T.Y.B.COM & S.Y.B.COM NSS volunteers.
Ms. Shruti Nadkarni spoke about the importance of Human Rights including the fundamental rights of every person. She appealed to NSS volunteers to apply and nurture the Human Rights in the broader interest of individuals and society. Through her valuable talk, the NSS volunteers got an exposure to various real life examples on Human Rights and made them aware of their rights and duties.
