Annual Intra – Collegiate Singing Competition

The Cultural Council of VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, Margao organised the annual intra – collegiate singing competition on 3^rd September 2016 in the college premises. The competition was conducted in various categories viz. Hindi, Konkani and English. The judges for the event were Mr. Sidharth Yaji and Mr. Yogendra Kakodkar. After a series of auditions, 18 students from across the various streams were shortlisted for the event and participated in the competition. The winners of the event were as follows:-

• Hindi Solo category :- 1^st Place –   Aniket Daddikar

2^nd Place – Deepak Ashanagar

3^rd Place – Yatin Mhapsekar

• Konkani Solo category:- 1^st Place – Rudraksh Vaze

2^nd Place- Vanisha Carvalho

• English Solo category:- 1^st Place – Maxwell Pinto

2^nd Place – Elvis Fernandes

• Hindi Duet category:- 1^st Place – Apoorva Lotlikar & Neha Karekar

• English Duet category :- 1^st Place – Elvis Fernandes & Maxwell Pinto

The teachers in charge of the event were Ms.  Pooja  Pai Khot and Ms.  Prachi P. Kolamker.  The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony at the hands of the Principal Dr. (Mrs) Prita D Mallya and Vice-Principal Dr. Sanjay Sawant Dessai. The event was well received and was a grand success.
