The Career & Placement Cell is responsible for organizing various qualitative training sessions in campus as per the requirements of the students & industry to equip students with the skill set to make them employable in the job market. The training sessions on soft skills, Corporate Grooming, Etiquettes & various career guidance session are aiming to Effectively bridge the gap between classroom learning and corporate business expectations of the recruiters.
The placement cell serves as an interface between the students and the corporate world. The Cell is also responsible for coordinating with the organizations and inviting them to the campus for placements.
The Career & Placement cell along with Placement officers also have active participation of the student coordinators, who handles various activities like making available the resumes of the students, communicating the guidelines and dates to the student community of the training sessions organized and providing assistance to the placement cell in all activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF CAREER CELL
- Inviting experts from various professional backgrounds to conduct sessions about the career options in their areas of work
- Working with the Student Welfare Cell and the College Counsellor to help students decide their area of interest and possible careers
- Working with the College Counsellor to arrange for career counselling for students
- Organizing sessions to create awareness on the avenues for higher education in India and abroad
- Working with individual departments to conduct career awareness sessions in Higher Secondary schools
Training, Internship & Placement (TIP) Cell.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF Training, Internship & Placement (TIP) Cell.
- Working closely with the Career Cell to make students aware of various career opportunities
- Enrolling interested Final Year students as members of the Placement Cell
- Organization of pre-placement training in communication and soft skills for student members registered with the Placement Cell
- Carrying out all pre-placement procedures, such as inviting recruiters and encouraging them to register for the Placement Fair, preparation of the Placement brochure, etc.
- Conduct of the Annual Placement Fair
- Arranging for recruitment sessions as per requests received from recruiters during the year
- Follow-up and collection of data (e.g. students recruited and joined, annual salary package, etc.) from recruiters post-placement
- Collection of feedback from recruiters about the conduct of the placement fair, performance of students, suggestions for improvement, etc.
- Providing the data of employers to the IQAC so that employer feedback can be obtained
- Providing data of recent batches of alumni to recruiters for the purpose of placement
- Organization of coaching classes for competitive exams.
