

The workshop commenced with an inaugural function and a keynote address by Mr. Shawn Kenneth Fernandes, CEO of Fluxatic Global, that is based in Goa. He spoke about the importance of branding and illustrated this by giving examples of the Apple brand and Modobag. He also explained the significance of UI/UX in web development, highlighting how even the movement of a single button can influence buyers on platforms like Amazon.
Sessions I and II were conducted by Mr. Mahadev Parsekar, Project Lead, Sierra Circuits (India) Private Ltd, who explained the process of website creation using Wix. Participants created a small website using Wix, and various drag-and-drop features were demonstrated.
Session III, which started after the lunch break at 2:00 PM, focused on digital marketing and was led by Mr. Sarvesh Rane, Digital Marketing Strategist, FLR Spectrun Ltd. He covered topics such as SEO and SEM in digital marketing, introduced different tools and applications, and explained the use of AI tools for SEO and SEM. Additionally, he provided insights into working with Google Ads and the Keyword Planner tool.
The valedictory function was held at 4:00 PM, with Mr. Uday Kulkarni, Assistant Professor and Public Information Officer (P.I.O.), as the Guest of Honour. The workshop concluded at 4:30 PM. And was attended by the following faculty members: Asst. Prof. Annette Santimano, Asst. Prof. Samira Vengurlekar, and Asst. Prof. Deepti Kulkarni along with students from the Computer Science Department, namely, Miss Aifa Shaikh and Miss Sheetal Sharma from TYBCA B and Mr. Anirudh Solanki, Mr. Akshay Kocharekar, Miss Riya Shinde and Miss Risha Mariyam from SYBCA B.
Expected Outcome of the Activity
