The joint presentation analyzed the relationship between economic growth, carbon emissions, and environmental technology in BRICS nations. The study emphasized the need for green technologies and policy interventions to achieve sustainable growth. Day 4: Bridging Gender Gap: Role of PMNY in Promoting Women Entrepreneurs in India
Presenters: Dr. Sheetal Arondekar and Ms. Sushrusha Naik Khandekar
The presentation focused on the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMNY) and its role in reducing the gender gap in entrepreneurship. The study highlighted how the scheme supports women entrepreneurs through collateral-free loans, enabling economic participation. Challenges, such as limited awareness and social barriers, were addressed with actionable recommendations like outreach programs and skill-building initiatives. (Attendance: 41 faculty members).
