The objective of this field trip was to study the ecological significance of various plant species and to understand the principles of water conservation. A total of 40 students (20 male, 20 female) were accompanied by faculty members Dr. Mamata Kane and Dr. Nikita Verekar, who provided guidance throughout the visit, helping students identify important plant species and explaining the dam’s role in water conservation and resource management.
Expected Outcome of the Activity:
Students will have to prepare a report based on their observation during the field trip. This will be considered as an intra semester assessment, and students will be evaluated accordingly. The purpose of this assignment is to highlight the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable use of resources.
